Yahtzee is a dice game. Similar to the free online board game, the object of the game is to score the most points by rolling five Yahtzee dice to make certain combinations. The Yahtzee dice can be rolled up to three times in a turn to try to make one of the thirteen possible scoring combinations. A game consists of thirteen rounds during which the player chooses which scoring combination is to be used in that round. Once a combination has been used in the game, it cannot be used again.

Roll all five Yahtzee dice by clicking on the cup on the right side of the screen or the Roll button.

After you roll the Yahtzee dice, you can either score the current roll or re-roll any or all of the five dice.

To re-roll some of the Yahtzee dice, first click on the dice you would like to keep and then click again on the cup or Roll button.

This will re-roll the unselected Yahtzee dice, leaving the selected ones unchanged.

Roll the dice in Yahtzee, the free online board game classic, and compete for the top spot of the leaderboards!

If you get a pair of 1s or 2s early in the game, go for a Full House. Even if you're unsuccessful ,you can score in the One or Two category.

If you get a 2, 3, 4, and 5 on your first or second roll, keep those Yahtzee dice and go for a Large Straight if you haven't gotten one yet.

Leave Chance empty until later in the game where your options become limited, in which case Chance will be useful.

When the embedded games are loading, it always says load the new Flash version on the background screen, I guess to remind those who DO need to do so. If you have downloaded it recently, just ignore the message and wait for the game to load

Yahtzee • Negative Posts and Complaints about Pogo on the Forums

Due to the many current issues affecting members game play the Pogo Forums are receiving a lot of negative and unconstructive feedback. We are aware of the issues largely related to those unhappy with Embedded Game Pages (EGP), whether it be the design/lack of Pop-ups, or Games loading slowly, not able to continue after one game, or simply not loading at all. We are researching those issues and hope to have solutions in the coming weeks.

Because of the many current, common, and overly repeated complaints, and threats of unsubscribing we are simply going to remove or consolidate such posts as they simply are over burdening our Forum’s community in general. I would like to be clear, we are not ignoring these complaints and the issues that are triggering them. We are simply trying to maintain the forums as a relatively peaceful place where members can communicate in a positive and constructive manner.

Our Mods are here trying to help. If they remove a post it is because they are following Pogo’s and EA’s guidelines. If they feel for any reason that a post is negative or may incite negative responses they are well within their given powers to remove such a post.

We know a lot of our members, Free and Club, have been having various ongoing and continuous issues with using our site for the last several weeks and month. We are working hard to try and narrow down the causes of these wide ranging problems.

The Game Loading and not being able to continue after playing a game are two of the largest issues that we are researching right now. We have been working directly with a few members to try and narrow down the symptoms and possible resolutions.

We have found a few things so far that are preventing players from normal game play, including certain browser add-ons and security settings. In many cases simply resetting the browser to its default settings and disabling add-ons that are not necessary for playing our games will resolve the problem.

We are still gathering information and as we do so, we will try to figure out if there are any adjustments we can make on our end so that these settings and add-ons do not interfere with people’s ability to play on Pogo. In some cases we may need to provide our users with more details on how they can make adjustments on their end so that they can continue playing. More details and information will be provided as they become more solid.

In addition to that, we also continue to look into the issues with Pop-up Game Windows, not being able to purchase Gems, various abuse issues, as well as new and old bugs.

We understand that these last few months with changes to our site, games, and EA Support have been very trying and we are indeed working to improve the experience for our fans. We greatly appreciate your patience.

Earlier when I played yahtzee, it was like always. I got in a room and played like I used to. Now I can't get back in. All it has to do with is Juan or bot.

[I am trying to win a challenge for a premium badge in Yatzee. It says play 10 rounds of super yatzee in ten days and earn 1 token in each round. The premium badge is yatzee party. I play and play and never earn anything. I am not sure if there is a difference betwee yatzee and super yatzee I thought a round is one time rolling and filling in the spaces. Help. I cannot finihs this badge.All the other ones in this badge work

Thanks for addressing my issue with this game. why do i have to see my opponent's score in challenge ? the top of the screen tells me if i am winning. having to see Juan's score takes up time. :?: :?:

"Start Game" button doesn't work for me on Yahtzee and Bejeweled. I can't get into either game. Also, Pogo seems very slow today. All the old games (with member rooms) work just fine. How come there are no member rooms with these particular games? Hmmmm .... I just tried Explorer. It seems to work with Explorer and not Mozilla! Please make it work with Mozilla!

Yahtzee • Issues with Yatzee

A couple of issues I find is that if you want to switch modes from classic to tourment or to challenge you have to exit the game completely and then come back in. This is also true if you want to change the options on the game. Also I find the challenge mode goes too quickly if I make one roll per play and take what I get or 0 something out and roll as quickly as I can, I run out of time. More time needs to be added to this. I will probably just play the classic mode by myself until these things are fixed. :roll:

booting you off when you're in the middle of the game??? this is annoying!!!!! please fix it or get rid of it.I like the game, but it's getting to the point that the games here are more aggravating then it's worth. :x

You need to use it to fill another category. Even if it doesn't match that slot and you get zero for it there you'll still get the 100 point bonus for a second Yahtzee.
