When it's your turn in MONOPOLY, you click the "Roll" button to roll the dice and move your MONOPOLY piece the number of spaces indicated on your roll. What happens next depends on the space you land on... Just like the board game
Click to throw the dice and see how far you get to advance on the board.
Make your way around the board and pass GO to collect $200.
Buy properties when you land on the ones that aren't already owned.
Cha-ching! Every time someone lands on one of your properties, they pay you rent!
Buy up the whole neighborhood in a colour group, and then start building houses and hotels.
The more houses and hotels you have, the more rent money you can collect.
Don't land in Jail -- it can cost a lot to get out.
Try to avoid your opponent's properties and other penalties on the board.
Negotiate smart trades and auctions to make your opponents go broke!More Games Like MONOPOLY
Here are some additional pointers designed to help with MONOPOLY online board game play:
ROLLING DOUBLES! If both dice show the same number, you've rolled doubles.
Your token will move to the sum of the two dice. If it's your first time rolling doubles on one turn, you get to roll again! But watch out: If you roll doubles for the third time in a row,
you'll get thrown “In Jail” and your token will automatically move to the jail space on the board.
GET RICH TIP! Try to own all the Title Deeds in a color-group on the board.
For example, Boardwalk and Park Place are both part of the dark blue color-group. When you own all properties in a color group, you can charge double rent!
CHANCE & COMMUNITY CHEST CARDS. When you land on either of these spaces,
you'll get the top card from the deck. Sometimes you'll owe money and sometimes you'll win some. Either way, the bank will automatically give or take money based on the card you got.
GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARDS. It's your lucky day! Pick up a Get Out of Jail
Free card and hold it until you need to use it. Or sell your card to another player whenever you like a price that you both agree to.
BANKRUPTCY. If you run out of cash and can't sell enough to pay back your debts,
you're bankrupt! And that means you lose. If your debt is to another player, you must give them all that you have left including properties, money and Get Out of Jail Free cards. If you're bankrupt
but still have houses or hotels left, the Bank will automatically buy these back from you and give that cash to the player whom you still owe.
LOW ON CASH? Raise money by selling your houses and hotels, mortgage your
properties to the Bank, or sell or trade your properties to other players for any amount that you can both agree on.More Games Like MONOPOLY

Monopoly Classic • Re: Why don't you give all tokens won?By noisythunder502 » May 16th, 2012, 2:02 amMaybe just naive but why cheat and how? |

Monopoly Classic • Re: Why don't you give all tokens won?By MarieBuoni » May 15th, 2012, 11:38 pmThat can't be true, because the last 3 games I played I got "0" tokens ( should have been 3977, 4130 and 2523 ) So I'm assuming it's the total # of tokens in a day that is limited. |

Not in a single day but in a single game. Pogo has a token cap set to supposedly discourage "cheating". |

Monopoly Classic • Re: scoringBy EUcinci2 » May 14th, 2012, 9:48 pmThe reason I initially asked is that I read someone's post (I can't remember who) that said you don't get scored for how many hotels or houses you have, but how much money you have at the end of the game. If that is true... than to get the highest score you should sell all your houses and hotels just before the other player(s) go bankrupt to get the highest possible score. Of course that could be risky, and you only get half the price of what you pay for the houses when you sell them, so you would lose money doing that especially if you end up having to rebuild again. |

Monopoly Classic • Re: scoringBy MinisculeAyeAye » May 14th, 2012, 12:04 pmOkay, I just reread what you're saying and I think I misunderstood the first time around. The tokens are the result of your score so it DOES answer my question. |

Monopoly Classic • Re: scoringBy MinisculeAyeAye » May 14th, 2012, 12:00 pmThanks for responding, Seska, but I was actually wondering about the scoring, not the tokens. Specifically, the scoring on the Monopoly Classic. |

Monopoly Classic • Re: scoringBy MinisculeAyeAye » May 14th, 2012, 5:47 amI've been trying to figure out the same thing. It seems oddly like your score is lower the faster you win... |

Monopoly Classic • Re: Community ChestBy blingadore » May 12th, 2012, 10:55 pmanother glitchy aspect of both community chest AND chance cards is that they come up in a more-or-less random order, even if that card has already turned up! e.g.: there can be MORE THAN TWO 'get out of jail free' cards in play at any given time, even though each deck only has ONE of those cards! |

Monopoly Classic • Negative Posts and Complaints about Pogo on the ForumsBy pogo_Maul » May 11th, 2012, 6:02 pmDue to the many current issues affecting members game play the Pogo Forums are receiving a lot of negative and unconstructive feedback. We are aware of the issues largely related to those unhappy with Embedded Game Pages (EGP), whether it be the design/lack of Pop-ups, or Games loading slowly, not able to continue after one game, or simply not loading at all. We are researching those issues and hope to have solutions in the coming weeks. |
